Heya - thanks so much for taking the time to read and reply to my whingeing! You are absolutely right - I should write for me and not for others, and I had been doing a pretty good job sticking to that. I just freaked out a bit, this time! Usually the humor in my stories is a reflection of the fact that I was having fun writing it, but nothing seemed funny and all my ideas felt worn out and overused and it was totally depressing. I will do my best not to let it happen again! *goes to look up address of nearest Buddhist temple* chatona's quote is absolutely perfect. I should get it tattooed on my forehead. (Or maybe just hang it on my wall.)

I definitely appreciate that about GW500 - it is always a relaxed, fun and welcoming place to hang out and to post. *hugs super mods* Sometimes I forget to look for people's fic elsewhere, cuz there's just so much good stuff posted right there.
