Yeah, I was a bit confused about Ducky's attitude at first ("Why is he behaving like a seventh girl??") but he did have a point and being friends with Gibbs has got to be a difficult and prickly endeavor.

Hehe, sometimes I think there's a bit too much compassion/dwelling/wallowing in fic (and in my own blog, now that I think about it...) so I do my best to counteract it whenever possible - especially with characters who outright refuse canonically to talk about feelings. :D
