I was picturing her at that point where you start thinking your parents (or guardian, in this case) aren't quite cool enough, and you start competing with your friends about how worldly and sophisticated you are, which was around 12 when I was little, but that may have changed by now! And of course, Mariameia has serious issues about pretending to be more grown up than she is, so who knows how that would have affected her development. Perhaps I made her examples of envied uncle-like behavior sound a little too childish?
Yeah, there is no reason a comedy can't have other emotional content as well! I'm happy you think I captured her personality well - we fans don't have much to go on, since she doesn't get a whole lot of screen time.
