I agree - those three do seem to be more about the fun and games. And yes, Shigure is a manipulative bastard, but I'm a sucker for those puppy dog eyes. :)
Your assessment of Tsuzuki/Hisoka is spot on - there is no easy way for them to get together, and fics usually like to cut to the chase. Can't be done here. And yes, Hisoka really does need to grow up - I generally lose patience when reading fics about him. I just want to smack him and tell him to chill the hell out. (Yes, I'm a total bitch.) And really, as can be seen in your icon, no one does those two better than canon, anyway.
(Now why can't I put this much thought and energy into my freakin' homework???)
