Stress Factor 7
Jul. 15th, 2004 01:53 pmOkay, so I'm leaving my job in one month and moving from Boston to Texas and I don't have a place to live yet and I have a huge amount of stuff to get done at work and I'll never get it all done and I am flying to Texas tomorrow to try to find a house/condo/shoebox that I can afford on a graduate student assistantship and I can't concentrate on work which just puts me further behind and I'm basically just a huge mess.
Well, that was exciting. Venting is good, even if it is just shouting into cyperspace with no one to hear me. (But there is the *potential* for someone to hear me, which somehow makes a difference.)
And in order to quell my incipient panic I decided to rent "Revelation" in order to see James D'Arcy (who was so damned good-looking in Master & Commander). It was not a great movie, though Udo Kier was awesome as the Evil Bad Guy Bent on Ruling the World Just Cuz, and James was once again damned good-looking. Though he looks better with his nifty scars from M&C. (My roommate says they make him look less like the "pretty, young, get-raped-in-the-shower type.") I had to agree with her there.
